These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of wanderbu.com (the "Website") and our travel planning services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using wanderbu.com or our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Services Description

Wanderbu provides AI-powered travel itinerary planning services. Our features include: Multi-hop route planning across trains, buses, ferries, and flights; Comfort scoring and risk analysis for travel days; Accommodation and dining recommendations; Visa and entry requirement guidance; Booking checklist generation; Offline mobile itinerary access.

Our itineraries are generated using artificial intelligence and are intended as planning aids. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information provided.

3. Important Disclaimers

  • AI Limitations: AI outputs may be inaccurate or outdated and users must independently verify transport, visa, weather, bookings and other critical travel information.
  • Visa Information: We clarify visa information is guidance only and does not constitute immigration or legal advice.
  • Comfort Scores: We state Comfort Scores are proprietary estimates and not guarantees of travel experience.
  • Verification Status: We explain that Verified, Likely and Needs Confirmation are confidence indicators rather than guarantees.
  • Budget Estimates: We clarify prices and currency conversions are estimates only.

4. Payments, Refunds, and Disclosures

4.1 Pricing

Our services are offered on a per-trip basis. Current pricing: Route Confidence Check: $9; Full Regional Plan: $49; Family / Group Comfort Plan: $99

4.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors. We do not store your full payment card details.

4.3 Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our services, all sales are final. Refunds may be granted at our sole discretion in cases of technical failure or significant service error.

4.4 Affiliate and Sponsorship Disclosures

  • Affiliate Links: We disclose that WanderBu may receive commissions from affiliate partners without additional cost to users.
  • Sponsored Content: We disclose promoted listings and sponsored recommendations.

5. User Accounts

To access certain features (such as saving trips), you must create an account. You are responsible for: Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials; All activities that occur under your account; Providing accurate and complete information.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property, User Content, and Feedback

All content, features, and functionality of our Services—including text, graphics, logos, and software—are owned by Wanderbu and protected by intellectual property laws.

  • User Generated Content: You retain ownership of any personal content you submit, but we clarify ownership and responsibility for collaborative content. By using our Services, you grant us a license to use this content solely to provide and improve our Services.
  • Feedback: You allow WanderBu to use submitted feedback without compensation.

7. Acceptable Use and API Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Use our Services for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt our Services
  • Use automated means to access our Services without permission
  • Resell or redistribute itinerary content without authorization
  • API Abuse: We strictly prohibit scraping, reverse engineering and automated abuse.
  • Rate Limits: We reserve the right to limit excessive usage.

8. Bookings and Third-Party Services

  • Third-Party Services: We clarify WanderBu is not responsible for services provided by booking partners, visa providers, maps, airlines or other third parties.
  • Booking Responsibility: Users remain responsible for checking booking details, cancellations, passenger information and payment terms.

9. Limitation of Liability and Force Majeure

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • Our itineraries are planning aids, not professional travel advice. Always verify critical information independently.
  • We are not liable for missed connections, booking errors, or travel disruptions resulting from reliance on our itineraries.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
  • Force Majeure: We exclude liability for disasters, strikes, wars, pandemics and government actions.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties and Service Updates

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

  • Service Availability: We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services.
  • Beta Features: We clarify beta features may change or be removed.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
